An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an aspiring leader to join the Senior Management Team at West Herts College Group as Head of Engineering at our new state of the art facilities and workshops at our Luton Campus.

The School of Engineering delivers a variety of qualifications to both full time and part time students in Motor Vehicle, Electrical Installation, Aeronautical and Civil engineering. In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for shaping the future of our students, ensuring they receive an exceptional education that prepares them for their future success in industry.

For the post holder, a strong understanding of curriculum development and the strategic aims of further education is essential. You will be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality curriculum that enhances the life chances of our learners through critical self-assessment, excellent quality improvement planning and exceptional stakeholder relationships.

You will have the opportunity to develop a business plan that considers the diversification and growth opportunities within the further education and engineering sectors, fostering new and existing employer engagement.

This is an opportunity for the right person to nurture a school culture that supports and encourages staff to perform at their highest level through strong communication and leadership.
