The Governors of Bank View School are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational Head of School to lead our Speke site, working under the direction of the Principal.

• Build a senior leadership team capable of leading the school sustainably into its next phase

The Head of School will be an outward-facing leader, proactively engaging with the latest evidence-based research and innovative strategies that enhance personal development and learning, ensuring these insights shape and influence the school's practice to deliver the best outcomes for students

• Develop a rich, well-planned curriculum, supporting students to overcome barriers to learning
• Champion personalised interventions, fostering students’ confidence and belief in their success • Bring expertise in nurture and trauma-informed practice, ensuring a compassionate approach
• Demonstrate agile leadership and strong emotional intelligence, working effectively with staff at all levels
• Understand the safeguarding duties required in special school settings
