Job summary

The Waterloo School is seeking a credible, values-driven leader to join as a senior leader. You will bring a successful track record at senior level within the education sector, with strong experience in leading teams and supporting children and young people with a wide variety of additional needs.

You will demonstrate a thorough understanding of SEND, safeguarding and relevant legislation, and you will lead teams through change and improvement with excellent communication, relationship-building

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational leadership of the school under the Executive Headteacher.
• Provide vision and direction focused on continuous school improvement.
• Foster an effective working relationship with the Executive Headteacher, leadership team and staff.
• Lead by example in teaching, learning and equality of opportunity.
• Seek strategies to achieve the school's shared vision.

Keyresponsibilities

• -beresponsible for, under the direction of, and in consultation with, theExecutive Headteacher, the overall day to day operational management andleadership of the school.
• -providevision, leadership and direction which are focused on continuous schoolimprovement.
• -effectiveworking relationship with the Executive Headteacher, leadership team and allstaff.
• -seekstrategies through which to achieve the agreed and shared vision of the school,leading by example particularly in respect of all aspects of teaching andlearning and ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
