About the requirement:

Passionate about developing commercial propositions and securing new business? Your next position could lead, shape, grow and own the Wind Farm go to market approach for Boldyn Networks in Europe. We are on the lookout for a motivated, innovative individual with a proven track record in wireless systems sales who shares the vision of building Boldyn Networks to be the undisputed number one wireless provider in this sector. Based in our friendly Paddington Office, you’ll cultivate relationships with current and potential customers to build a robust sales pipeline, ensuring the achievement of both short-term and long-term revenue plans.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the Commercial Team, you’ll secure new business from Windfarm Operators in the offshore sector, with the product proposition being Private 5G networks – Public and Private. Colleagues will know you for your ambition, and capability to develop effective relationships with key stakeholders and team members. It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with:

  • Driving the development of new business strategies, leading the engagement and relationship building across the windfarm sector.
  • Developing the route(s) to market to ensure all potential business is engaged with a Boldyn Networks offering.
  • Embedding a customer led ethos which focuses on a mutually beneficial outcome and deliver world class customer experiences.
  • Achieving Sales Targets and other KPI’s within our quarterly schedule
  • Working closely with Pre sales/Tech team to develop winning proposals.
  • Acting as Boldyn Ambassador for wireless services in the offshore market.
  • Creating and maintaining the Account Development Plan that leads to the expansion and growth of new business.
  • Evaluating and reshaping the viability and suitability of new opportunities
  • Co-creating short-term and long-term plans with Commercial Director to ensure optimum market penetration


What You’ll Bring

Think you could make a difference here? We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares and wants to grow our business. You’ll want to make an impact from day one. You might also need some of the following:

  • Degree level qualification preferred, or Advanced Apprenticeship supported by Professional Development
  • Experience of leading contract negotiations for long term partnerships through to a successful conclusion in a technical environment
  • Proven experience of business development activity to achieve revenue targets and budgets and drive opportunities through to completion
  • Experience working in telecommunications in windfarm market and a good understanding of the technical landscape to translate customer requirements into reality
  • Experience in strategic sales methodologies and techniques, bid writing, negotiating skills structured sales processes and formal RFP processes.
  • Business development experience with Windfarm operators – selling wireless systems – Tetra, Wi-fi, LTE.
  • Experience of building long-term, quality customer relationships and navigating the negotiating cycle with maturity and a partnership ethos
  • Experience assessing complex stakeholder relationships with the ability to present effectively and build relationships with C-Suite and Board level stakeholders
  • Experience working with engineering and project management processes, costs and typical pricing models
