Head of Sales UKIE

Are you looking for your next move? Do you want to take responsibility for heading up sales in the UK & IE market, joining a rapidly growing business that is leading the way in premium pet foods?

We are on the hunt for a Head of Sales to lead all elements of the Edgard & Cooper commercial strategy, deliver sales objectives, and contribute to the product development and category management. You will report to our Pack Lead for Developing & New Markets and work closely with cross-functional teams, especially with the UK & IE Head of Marketing, to develop and execute disruptive trade marketing strategies that grow the brand in the UK & IE and achieve our growth plans.

What is in your bowl?
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute strategies to win in the UK & IE, including best-in-class trade marketing to enhance retail presence, drive sales growth, and foster brand love.
  • Grow key strategic accounts by establishing and managing JBPs across Specialty, Garden, and Grocery sectors.
  • Drive new business development and expand retail presence in relevant shops in the market.
  • Manage and develop our field sales team, providing ongoing training to refine their pitches.
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing on campaign planning.
  • Manage and report on the Sales P&L, ensuring budgets are met, investments are aligned, and providing ongoing growth recommendations.
  • Recommend data and insights purchases to strengthen Edgard & Cooper's category story to retailers.
  • Collaborate with Operations to build robust forecasting processes supporting an effective long-term supply chain strategy.
  • Manage, develop, and grow the sales team, including field sales and a National Account Executive.
