Job Description

My client is a leading and fast-growth home & wellness brand (ecommerce & retail). With an impressive UK & international D2C and retail customer base, we are looking for a Head of Sales to take the retail side of this sustainability-focused brand to the next level.

We are seeking an ambitious and strategic Head of Sales to drive retail expansion for this brand. This high-impact role involves building and executing domestic & international retail sales strategies, forging partnerships with key retailers, and increasing market share in the sustainable consumer goods space.

The successful candidate will manage an established and growing team and should be a hands-on leader eager to make a significant business impact.

This role is fully office-based at our Camden HQ.

The Role

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive retail sales strategy to boost brand awareness and revenue across all domestic & international markets.
  • Identify and prioritize retail opportunities, including major retailers (e.g., supermarkets, department stores) and independent/specialty stores.
  • Establish and develop distributor relationships.
  • Define and implement pricing, promotions, and distribution strategies.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and negotiations to onboarding and long-term account growth.
  • Own multi-£m revenue targets, ensuring consistent growth in the retail sector.
  • Monitor sell-through rates, stock levels, and replenishment cycles, collaborating with supply chain and logistics teams to meet demand.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to refine strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Implement and track KPIs for sales performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize revenue streams.
  • Coordinate with marketing and branding teams to develop retail-specific campaigns, including POS displays, promotions, and in-store activations.
  • Direct line management of three team members and advise on future growth needs.

The Person

  • Proven track record in retail sales leadership, ideally within FMCG, sustainable goods, or consumer products.
  • Experience in domestic & international sales.
  • Strong network and relationships within FMCG.
  • Experience in scaling retail sales from the ground up.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with a strong commercial mindset.
  • Passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact.
