Job Description
As the Head of Sales, your role will have the following responsibilities:
- Create and execute the future Sales strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive, data-driven sales strategy that delivers ambitious, long-term, sustainable growth.
- Elevate and Scale the Sales Team: Lead, optimise, and guide an established Sales teams to high performance. Your initial focus will be on unlocking the full potential of the current team through coaching and adherence to a clear vision and unified strategy. You will then strategically recruit and develop new team members to ensure a collaborative, results-driven culture and sustained growth.
- Drive Customer relationships - establish and maintain strong relationships with Customers and Partners. Lead contract negotiations and manage key deals with a strong focus on long-term relationship management.
- Optimise sales operations - Oversee all aspects of sales operations, with a focus on technology and automation tools that can track progress, enhance efficiency, and optimise sales performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our Marketing, Product and Account Management teams; a one-team approach drives the customer journey, giving them the best possible experience and enables us to better meet our business objectives.
- Build Knowledge; internally, support the Sales and Account Management teams in clearly showing how the platform solves clients' biggest problems and externally with customers and partners so they deeply understand the value of the products.
- Brand Representation: Represent at industry events, conferences etc in order to build networks, strengthen brand positioning and build market intelligence to drive production innovation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Sales should:
- Have extensive commercial experience developing B2B Sales strategy for SaaS businesses and running the day to day sales operations (forecasting, performance tracking, reporting etc).
- Bring exceptional people leadership skills with the ability to bring your team on the journey with you.
- You should have examples of where you have supported those who may not be performing as expected to help them succeed and where you have identified high performing talent to help them realise their potential/ambitions
- Have a track record of delivering revenue results and driving sustainable business growth.
- Bring significant leadership experience with proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders of all seniority
- Possess a data-driven mindset with experience in optimising sales analytics tools and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven business environment
