Head of Sales – ProductsSeething, Norfolk, however the location can be flexible.

JF Fendercare provides ship to ship (STS) transfer services and supplies high-quality marine products and services that protect people and assets, powering seaborne trade.

The Role

The Head of Sales – Products is a strategic and results-driven leader responsible for growing global revenue and margin across Fendercare’s products business. You will lead the product-focused sales team, manage key accounts, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial performance, market competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.

This role is central to shaping the product sales strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring consistent execution globally. It requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global product sales strategy aligned with annual revenue and profit targets.
  • Lead and manage Product Sales Managers and Key Account Managers.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor team effectiveness and individual contributions.
  • Establish and manage a sales planning process with Regional Sales Managers to drive success against targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and lead product-based commercial innovation.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create compelling product campaigns and sales collateral.
  • Monitor pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Contribute to budget setting, forecasting, and overhead management.
  • Represent the business externally at customer meetings, industry events, and exhibitions.
  • Ensure alignment between product sales and broader business objectives.
  • Manage product managers to drive fixed fendering and innovation.
  • Promote and uphold the company’s safety culture and core values at all levels.
  • Champion safety culture and the company’s core values at all levels.

The Person

You will need strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching abilities along with the gravitas and credibility to influence senior stakeholders and clients.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven leadership in global B2B sales, ideally within maritime, offshore, or logistics sectors.
  • Experience managing remote, international sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of STS operations and commercial models.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales performance tools.
  • Experience with sales transformation or change management would be desirable.
  • Values-driven, with a track record of collaboration, professionalism, and innovation.
  • The role is to be based at the JF Fendercare offices in Seething, Norfolk therefore, you will need to be able to commute to this location.

You will need a flexible approach to this role as regular travel will be necessary.
