Job Description

Acceptance Solutions offers a comprehensive payment management platform for ecommerce merchants, combining global payment processing, fraud management, and payment security services that empower our clients in over 190 countries. The world's largest online merchants leverage our payment solutions to innovate, optimize, and grow their businesses.

The Regional Head of Sales Engineering Delivery - Europe, reporting to the Vice President, Global Sales Engineering Delivery, will support the European Sales function of Acceptance Solutions within Value Added Services. The role involves designing and executing the regional European sales GTM & strategy to expand the business, focusing on new client acquisition and growth of existing clients. You will lead a regional team of professionals with revenue responsibility, driving a new approach to client engagement and structuring Sales Engineering delivery, enablement, and engagement strategies. The role emphasizes high performance, seamless deal execution, technical due diligence, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to drive revenue growth and client retention. Additionally, you will develop partnerships within Acceptance Solutions & Visa, ensuring cohesive client coverage and strategic alignment across regions.

Essential Functions:

  1. Partner with the Global VP of Sales Engineering Delivery, Regional Sales Leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to incorporate client feedback into technology investments.
  2. Drive revenue growth and achievement of quotas across Europe.
  3. Support sales engineering activities for new and existing opportunities to meet booking targets and go-live goals.
  4. Collaborate with sales leadership to monitor and accelerate sales performance through strategic programs and activity management.
  5. Align regional sales strategies with global standards to promote consistent client engagement behaviors.
  6. Build partnerships with regional sales engineering leaders globally to ensure client-centric, scalable processes.
  7. Lead career development initiatives in partnership with the Global VP.
  8. Manage pipeline activity and capacity planning for inbound and outbound sales efforts.
  9. Oversee client engagement during deal cycles, focusing on unlocking revenue through technical validation.
  10. Establish standards for client engagement to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Work with Solutions & Product Management to prioritize solutions and gather client feedback for future investments.
  12. Promote the Global Sales Engineering Delivery vision, driving accountability and regional excellence.
  13. Act as a technical SME in client engagements, advocating for technology-led value discussions.
  14. Support the development of Proof of Concept models for client trials.
  15. Lead enablement efforts for new technologies and Visa's product stack.
  16. Build partnerships across Visa functions to align during client deal cycles.

Key Experience:

  • Successful leadership of a comparable function within a similar industry.
  • Experience navigating complex, global matrix organizations.
  • Ability to analyze and make timely decisions.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience using APIs, frameworks, and scripting languages for client demos.
  • Skilled in creating client-facing artifacts to facilitate engagement.
  • Experience working with C-suite clients.

This position is remote, with the possibility of requiring presence at a Visa office with prior notice.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 10+ years with an advanced degree, or 5+ years with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 12+ with an advanced degree, including 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in sales, marketing, product, technology, and customer service.
• Strong leadership and influence skills, with strategic thinking capabilities.
• Proven success in solving business challenges through technology solutions.
• Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
