We are currently partnered with a global consumer business who are looking to bring in a Head of Sales to their organisation. The business has been established for over 40 years and prides themselves on high quality products and working with the best people in the industry.

As the Head of Sales, you will have a team of 5 direct reports and you will report directly into the Sales Director, with a dotted line to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Full P&L responsibility across your own accounts as well as those of your teams
  2. Directly oversee and be responsible for the growth of the business in the UK
  3. Proactively lead, manage, and execute the entire sales lifecycle from introduction to first product delivery.
  4. Define and execute the UK sales strategy along with the Senior Leadership Team
  5. Keep abreast of what the competition are doing
Ideal Candidate

You will already be a successful Head of Sales or working as a Senior National Account Manager within a Consumer Business. You will be confident and comfortable managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams of experts. You must be able to work within a fast-paced changing environment; and have the ability to build strong business and personal relationships while developing and implementing creative, sustainable, mutually profitable business solutions.

  1. Consumer goods experience working FOB is essential
  2. Demonstrate profitable margin growth within your current job role.
  3. Strong relationship builder
  4. Highly organised in follow-up & planning
  5. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  6. Excellent numerical skills, proficient use of PowerPoint, Google Suite & Excel
  7. Highly motivated
  8. Team player - a good fit within our team is crucial.
  9. Strong Negotiator
  10. Ability to manage account P&L, including marketing and promotional budgets.
