Job description

Summary: Our client is looking for someone with experience in heading up the sales trading function to find and grow new client opportunities. These might include existing customers or new clients, while maintaining strong relationships with the current client base.

What they do: Our client is a global provider of innovative technology, offering customers access to competitive pricing across up to 6,000 markets, supported by award-winning customer service teams.

Role: Your sales trading experience will enable you to liaise with sales traders and clients to keep them informed about market movements, as well as updating market-making traders on relevant issues related to their customers and products.

You will manage a team of Sales Traders who take instructions directly from clients, including placing orders, executing trades, monitoring market developments, and exploring new financial ventures. The primary focus of this role is to make outbound sales trading calls to both new clients and existing clients who have not traded recently, with the aim of reactivation.

Skills and Experience:

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Financial Markets
  • Experience in developing client relationships and presenting sales ideas
  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Drive and ambition to succeed
  • Knowledge of MT4 and Salesforce
  • 25 days holiday, increasing by 3 days to a maximum of 28 days, accruing at 1 day per year served after three years
