About the Role:

KM Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a successful Training Organisation that delivers a wide range of Apprenticeship programmes. We are looking to appoint a Head of Sales to lead their business development and employer engagement strategy, focusing on driving performance and revenue growth.

Essential Criteria:
  • Extensive experience as Head of Sales, Head of Business Development, or Sales Director within the Apprenticeship sector.
  • A proactive approach to business growth with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets for Apprenticeship uptake.
  • Experience in securing new Levy and SME employer accounts for Apprenticeship delivery.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and be flexible with travel.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Identify and build strategic relationships with large Levy employers to promote training programmes, including Apprenticeships and Commercial provision.
  • Manage a business development team, performance manage, and ensure active pursuit of Apprentice starts.
  • Engage with employers to discuss training and recruitment needs for existing staff and new Apprentices.
  • Advise employers on the Apprenticeship Levy and funding reforms.
  • Develop and deliver business growth presentations at senior levels.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions within set timeframes.
  • Forecast and plan for industry changes and growth opportunities.
  • Stay informed on policy and funding changes relevant to the sector.
  • Report sales data and forecasts regularly to senior management.
