Job description

A major commercial vehicle trailer manufacturer and truck and body builders is looking for a Head of sales & Marketing to manage their field based sales team and alsodrive and grow the business contributing as an integral part of the senior business management team. Must have managed a sales team and also produced and managed company wide sales & marketing campaigns aiding in the financial growth of the company. Must have experience in the commercial vehicle, automotive, trailer, plan, agricultural or similar industry sector.

ROLE: Head of Sales & Marketing
LOCATION: Lincolnshire
BASIC SALARY: £60k to £80k
BENEFITS: Car allowance or company car, pension.
BONUS: Two bonus' one based on the performance of the sales team, the other an annual bonus based upon performance.
ROLE:
  • Create and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and profit targets.
  • Lead, train, and manage the sales team.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Monitor sales performance and market trends to adjust strategies.
  • Identify new market opportunities for growth.
  • Use CRM tools to track sales activity and forecasts.
  • Work closely with production and engineering to align products with market needs.
  • Develop and deliver marketing plans to boost brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Oversee digital marketing, content creation, and social media.
  • Plan and manage promotional events and trade shows.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all marketing channels.
  • Financial Management

    • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets in line with business goals.
    • Track spending and ensure marketing delivers strong ROI.
    • Report sales and marketing results to shareholders with insights and suggestions.

    Team Leadership

    • Lead and motivate a high-performing team.
