Roles and Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development & Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of the global sales strategy to meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Design and implement effective sales processes, ensuring alignment with global market demands and corporate objectives.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to develop tailored strategies for each market while ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals.
- Oversee the monitoring of sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure continued growth.
- Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Identify and evaluate new international business opportunities and partnerships within key global markets.
- Establish and nurture relationships with potential partners, healthcare providers, distributors, and regulatory bodies to drive business growth.
- Explore and secure opportunities for licensing, joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions to accelerate market entry.
- Lead the negotiations and finalization of contracts with key stakeholders, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a global sales and business development team, ensuring high performance, motivation, and alignment with company goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, regulatory affairs, R&D, and supply chain, to ensure product availability, marketing effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:
- Conduct regular market research to assess trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the global pharmaceutical industry.
- Analyze regional market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory requirements to tailor product offerings and sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to position products effectively in each region.
- Revenue Growth & P&L Responsibility:
- Own the overall revenue and sales targets for international markets, ensuring consistent growth and profitability.
- Monitor and manage budgets for international sales and business development initiatives.
- Regularly report on performance metrics to senior leadership, providing insights into market conditions, sales trends, and potential growth areas.
- Vendor Management
Experience in UK Citizen & PR and Pharmaceutical background.
