A leading recruitment agency is seeking a motivated Head of Sales to drive business development in the Apprenticeships sector. This home/field-based role focuses on building strategic relationships, managing a team, and ensuring the growth of apprenticeship starts while providing support to employers regarding the Levy.

Job Title:Head ofSales– Apprenticeships

Location:Home/Field based

Salary:up to £65,000 + Bonus

Type:Full Time, Permanent

KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a successful Training Organisation, who deliver a wide range of Apprenticeship programmes. They are looking to appoint a ‘Head ofSales’ to lead their business development and employer engagement strategy, drivingperformanceand revenue growth.

Essential Criteria:

  • A wealth of experience of working as Head of Sales/ Head of Business Development/ Sales Director specifically within the Apprenticeship landscape.
  • Demonstrate a ‘hands on’ approach to business growth,with a proven track record of achieving / exceeding targets for the uptake of Apprenticeships
  • Proven experience of securing new Levy and SME employer accounts for the delivery of Apprenticeships.
  • Must hold a full, UK driving licence, and flexible with travel.

Role Overview:

  • Identify and build strategic relationships with key Large Levy employers, to promote our client’s fullrange of training programmes:Apprenticeships andCommercial provision.
  • Responsible for managing a business development team, performance managing and ensuring the team is actively driving Apprentice starts.
  • Engage with employers to discuss their training and recruitment needs for existing staff and new Apprentice recruitment.
  • Give advice and support to employers regarding the Apprenticeship Levy and future funding reforms.
  • Produce and deliver business growth propositions / presentations at senior level.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions within agreed timeframes.
  • Forecast and plan for growth and industry changes.
  • Maintaining own knowledge of policy changes, funding changes and relevant business expectations.
  • Report sales data and forecasts on a regular basis to senior management.
