NEOS Engineering Recruitment is working with a top construction equipment company looking for a Head of Sales, The client are known for quality, great service, and caring about their people. They need a Head of Sales to run their Construction Division, handling sales, service, parts, and keeping customers happy. This job is about growing the business, hitting sales goals, and leading a team while keeping everyone motivated and working with customers and suppliers.

The Job:

As the Head of Sales, you’ll manage the division daily, making sure sales and services grow steadily. You’ll plan sales, keep customers coming back, lead your team, and work with marketing and suppliers to make the business stronger. Product lines include, prior experience with this equipment is essential; Excavators 1 - 100T, Telehandlers, Rollers and road machinery with more to come.

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan sales strategies, track progress with CRM tools, and find new markets to grow.
  • Build strong ties with customers, suppliers, and local partners.
  • Boost sales of equipment and services, like maintenance contracts.
  • Train and guide Sales Managers to improve their work.
  • Manage key accounts and ensure deal details (like prep, delivery, and warranties) are correct.
  • Keep forecasts accurate in the CRM and make sure orders are spot on.
  • Suggest suppliers that fit the company’s needs and maintain good relationships with them.
  • Help hire and train aftermarket teams to work smarter.
  • Work with marketing on planning, promotions, and announcements.
  • Make sure orders and inventory match what customers need.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and factory visits to bring in more sales.
  • Keep the team engaged and follow health and safety rules.
  • Hit goals for market share, service income, parts sales, and profit margins.

What You Need:

  • At least 5 years in sales, business management, or equipment sales and support.
  • Great at leading and motivating a team.
  • Good with numbers and solving problems.
  • A business degree is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with systems like SAP or IBCOS GOLD is helpful.
  • Can handle pressure and work well with others.
  • Know the industry and how equipment and supplier relationships work.
