We are searching for a Head of SHEQ to spearhead the Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) strategy across our three Keystone and IG Lintels sites. In this role, you’ll champion a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve and set new industry standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the charge in developing and executing an ambitious SHEQ strategy aligned with our company’s vision.
  • Set strategic SHEQ goals and objectives, fostering an environment where continuous improvement thrives.
  • Lead and inspire the SHEQ team, embedding a proactive and positive safety culture across the organization.
  • Design and drive SHEQ policies and best practices to ensure full compliance across all sites.
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications.
  • Conduct in-depth safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, delivering clear action plans for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed SHEQ management systems into daily operations seamlessly.
  • Track and analyse SHEQ performance metrics, identifying and implementing strategies for ongoing enhancement.
  • Be the face of SHEQ excellence, liaising with external regulators, stakeholders, and certification bodies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strategic thinker, ready to drive SHEQ excellence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of SHEQ management experience, ideally in the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Deep expertise in SHEQ regulations and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills – you know how to inspire and empower others.
  • A proactive problem solver with excellent analytical abilities.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly to our sites in Cookstown (NI) and Cwmbran (Wales).
