Job summary

Ark Boulton Academy is seeking a safeguarding lead to direct the development of safeguarding, mental health and child protection policies, training and procedures. You will assess referrals and coordinate support for vulnerable students and families, building strong relationships with external agencies to enable wrap-around support.

Working under the Assistant Principal, you will take the lead on safeguarding within the academy, ensuring rigorous DBS checks and safeguarding recruitment practices

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding policies and child protection procedures.
• Ability to coordinate referrals and wrap-around support.
• Familiarity with DBS checks and safeguarding recruitment.

• Assess and evaluate referrals and coordinate appropriate support for vulnerable students, parents and families.
• Lead safeguarding issues within the academy under the direction of the Assistant Principal.

About The Role

You will assess and evaluate referrals and coordinate appropriate support for vulnerable students, parents and families. You will need to create strong working relationships with outside agencies to enable wrap around support for the student and parents/carers. You will lead under the direction of the Assistant Principal, to take the lead on the Safeguarding issues within the academy.
