Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Head of Risk Oversight for Lloyds Wealth to join the leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will provide independent second-line oversight of regulatory, conduct and compliance risk, ensuring adherence to risk appetite and governance expectations.

You will shape risk culture, guide senior leaders, and support growth across wealth, financial planning and retirement services in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience within Wealth Management
• Senior leadership experience in Compliance or Risk
• Deep understanding of FCA regulatory requirements in wealth management
• Experience leading regulatory engagement and building relationships with regulators
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and monitoring techniques
• Interest in data/technology to strengthen oversight

Responsibilities

• Act as delegate to the SMF16 Compliance Oversight Function Holder, leading second line oversight of Lloyds Wealth distribution, advice and related activities.
• Provide strategic direction to senior management and boards on Wealth Management.
• Oversee the firm's compliance plan, conduct strategy and Consumer Duty requirements to ensure fair customer outcomes.
• Maintain oversight of SMCR controls including Training & Competency, licensing, certification and P&Ps.
• Review regulatory developments and engage with regulators as appropriate.
• Drive continuous improvement of control environment using data-driven insight and emerging technologies.
