Royal Mail Property is introducing a new leadership position for a Head of Risk & Compliance - a commercially minded expert who will shape strategic compliance oversight across our estate. Compliance is currently managed through our Facilities Management subsidiary (PFSL) and the Property Construction Team, and the Head of Risk will take a role in defining and implementing a standardised strategic approach.
This role will define compliance standards, lead safety improvement programmes, and ensure that our estate meets all legislative requirements while remaining safe, efficient, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
Location - London, Leeds or Manchester based with UK travel - 3 days office attendance/2 remote
About you
You bring extensive senior leadership experience in property risk and compliance. You have expert knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Building Safety Act, and strong strategic planning and communication skills. You're commercially minded, data-savvy, and experienced in dispute resolution. Most importantly, you demonstrate the leadership qualities and values expected at Royal Mail.
