Are you interested in working for a Swiss luxury brand known for their pioneering cellular anti-aging therapies? Then La Prairie may be of interest to you. As the Head Of Retail and Education for both UK & ROI, you will be responsible for developing and implementing education and training strategies, in line with Global guidelines, to enhance the skills, performance, and engagement of Field teams. You will lead the development of retail programs focused on training and coaching Beauty Advisors and regional trainers. Managing a team of two, you will oversee all education activities, plans, and schedules for the year, ensuring all activities are engaging, inspiring, and motivational for the Field teams.
This is a field-based role that will involve travel and overnight stays.
Main Accountabilities
- Develop and execute the UK & ROI education strategy aligned with local and global business objectives, creating high-performing teams and memorable customer experiences.
- Lead the implementation of the La Prairie Retail Academy and its education programs, including learning and development paths for Beauty Advisors.
- Implement, update, and evolve training programs on selling, service, and Retail Mindset branded as: Art of Service, Art of Perfection, and Retail Development to ensure the brand stays ahead in high-touch service and in-store CRM.
- Create product and novelty training materials and tools.
- Develop a strong retail, client, and product culture among Beauty Advisors and Field teams.
- Create promotional programs for in-store events and consumer consultation activities.
- Design managerial training programs to motivate Beauty Advisors to increase productivity.
- Support the Field management team with leadership training.
- Focus on education team’s impact on onboarding, CRM training, soft skills, and career development.
- Develop training programs for regional trainers to enhance their skills in training and leading La Prairie Retail Academy programs.
- Assess ROI on education, training, and events, and tailor programs accordingly.
- Update Art of Beauty trainings and protocols.
- Ensure global grooming guidelines are followed by Retail teams.
- Follow global mystery shopping programs, analyze results, and propose improvements.
- Collaborate with global marketing to ensure the Beauty Advisor is central to the consumer journey and 360 programs, including Store Design & VM, Strategic Innovation & PR, and Brand Development.
- Work closely with the global education team to align UK initiatives with global vision and roadmap.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Extensive experience in education and training within the beauty industry, luxury experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver inspiring education programs across the UK.
- Passion for luxury skincare and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Strong brand and product affinity.
- Retail experience and expertise.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and motivational skills (ambassador role).
- Beauty Therapy qualifications.
