Job Overview

The Head of Relocation Co-ordinator is responsible for leading and executing end-to-end relocation services for both domestic and international healthcare professionals joining UK-based roles. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless and supportive transition for candidates relocating from abroad or across regions, while ensuring full compliance with immigration, housing, and onboarding protocols.

This role combines project management, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, and candidate experience leadership — making it ideal for someone experienced in international mobility, healthcare logistics, or large-scale staffing support.

Responsibilities

Design and implement a comprehensive relocation programme tailored to international healthcare professionals, covering flights, accommodation, visa assistance, and onboarding logistics.
Oversee a team of relocation coordinators and support staff to manage high volumes of inbound candidates.
Liaise with recruitment teams to forecast relocation requirements and timelines.
Coordinate with visa sponsors, immigration consultants, landlords, housing agencies, and transport providers.
Ensure candidates are guided through every stage of the relocation process, including pre-departure briefings, airport pickups, accommodation check-ins, and integration support.
Develop documentation, guides, and digital onboarding kits for relocating professionals.
Create and manage relocation budgets and vendor contracts.
Troubleshoot issues related to visas, housing, banking, documentation, or pastoral care.
Track all relocation activity using CRM/ATS platforms, ensuring GDPR and immigration compliance.
Collect and analyse feedback to continually improve the relocation experience.
Represent the company in international webinars, university briefings, or embassies (as needed).
Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in relocation management, international mobility, HR operations, or global recruitment logistics.
Deep understanding of UK immigration processes, visa sponsorship, and compliance (Skilled Worker Visa/Health and Care Visa).
Demonstrated experience coordinating high-volume relocations and working with international stakeholders.
Excellent project management, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
Strong empathy and cross-cultural awareness when supporting international candidates.
Proficiency in CRM/ATS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with creating SOPs, process documentation, and feedback systems.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Degree in HR, Business, International Relations, or a related field (preferred).
