Our client is a multinational wholesale bank, with a strong focus on building out developing markets, who are looking to recruit a Head of Regulatory Reporting. They have offices across the globe, but pride themselves on remaining flexible enough to adapt to the individual needs of their customers. Reporting to the deputy CFO, the Head of Regulatory Reporting is responsible for the accurate, timely and complete regulatory reporting to the PRA, FCA and the Bank of England. You will support the deputy CFO in all matters from a Regulatory perspective, and help the organisation adapt to any changes in regulation, whilst managing a small team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, direct, and establish strategic oversight of the Regulatory function in Finance.
• Ensure control over regulatory reporting
• Ensure adherence to the capital, funding, and liquidity management frameworks, for both BAU and under stress
• Ensure that all regulatory reports are reconciled to the Bank’s books and records and are accompanied by relevant MI
• Understand upcoming regulatory changes and implement these either through change initiatives
• Ensure overall Regulatory governance, policies, frameworks etc. are up to date.
• Ensure adequate controls and up-to-date detailed procedures over the regulatory processes are adequately documented.
• Ensure that the Regulatory team, systems, and processes are prepared to implement changes in template reporting and taxonomies.
• Ensure that new products, projects and initiatives are correctly evaluated for regulatory implications and are embedded in the Bank’s accounting systems.
• Manage, recruit and develop team members within a small Regulatory team

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Substantial Regulatory Reporting experience within Financial Services.
• Senior experience of managing a team.
• Extensive knowledge of FCA and PRA regulations
