  • Location: Remote with some travelHours: 35 hours per weekSalary: £70,000 to £75,000 depending on experience

United Response is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to take on the pivotal role ofHead of Regulatory Compliance, Operational Governance and Policy. This position is ideal for a subject matter expert (SME) with in-depth knowledge of social care regulations, who is passionate about driving quality, safety, and compliance across care services.

Key Purpose of the Role:

To ensure we can meet regulators' requirements and operate at an outstanding rating across our regulated services. To provide a framework of policies which supports the organisation to remain within the law and follow best practice.

What we need from you:

Qualifications
  • Essential: Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. Institute of Risk Management, CQI, etc.)
  • Desirable: Level 7 qualification in a relevant field such as health and social care management, risk and compliance, public administration, or healthcare law.
  • Desirable: Past or present registration with the NMC or relevant regulator and/or have a nursing degree or equivalent clinical qualification.

Experience
  • Experience of being an organisation's subject matter expert on Social Care Regulations, including CQC, CIW etc.
  • Experience of offering authoritative guidance to registered managers and senior leaders to ensure consistently high operational regulatory compliance.
