Job summary

CPI's Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC) in Glasgow seeks an experienced Quality Manager to provide quality leadership across development and GMP manufacturing. You will balance regulatory compliance with innovation and lead a growing quality team.

You will own the QMS/PQS, drive audits, ensure data integrity, and partner with site leadership to shape quality strategy for next‑generation medicines, including oligonucleotides, peptides, and other modalities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within a senior quality role in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP, Data Integrity, quality risk management, and pharmaceutical quality systems.
• Experience leading audits, compliance activities, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing and developing quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all quality activities within CPI's MMIC facility.
• Serve on the site leadership team, providing authoritative quality guidance.
• Define GMP standards for innovative and development-stage activities.
• Develop and improve the site's QMS and PQS.
• Ensure GMP compliance, data integrity, and quality governance.
• Drive KPI monitoring and quality performance.
• Lead quality audits and regulatory readiness.
• Manage quality incidents, deviations, investigations, and change controls.
• Develop and coach the quality team.
