Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking an experienced Head of Quality Assurance (FE) to lead the development and continuous improvement of quality systems across the College and ensure regulatory compliance. The role partners with the Director of Quality Innovation and the Quality Team to deliver enhancements that place the student experience at the heart of the College’s provision.

The appointee will drive QA activities, lead teams, and prepare for external scrutiny, ensuring quality objectives

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in further education quality assurance.
• Strong track record reviewing policies and procedures with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Ofsted and inspection requirements.
• Experience leading and motivating QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of QA systems across the College.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Drive culture of quality enhancement and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with curriculum and support areas to identify development opportunities.
• Prepare for external inspections and respond to scrutiny.
