Job summary

Rivencore Global is seeking a Head of Quality to lead our Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Quality Engineering teams from our Poole, UK site. You will protect product quality, ensure compliance and drive improvements across manufacturing and engineering operations.

You will champion a culture of problem solving, data-driven decision making and customer-focused quality. The role reports to the Operations Director and requires strong leadership and hands-on quality expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality functions in manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and quality standards (ISO 9001, ITAR, ATEX, Wheelmark).
• Practical use of 8D, FMEA, APQP and Lean/Six Sigma for problem solving.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management.
• Clear, evidence-based decision making and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Quality teams to achieve shared goals.
• Maintain and improve QMS, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance and regulatory standards.
• Lead audits, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, production and engineering to resolve issues.
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Are you passionate about quality, continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams?

Reporting to the Operations Director, we are looking for an experienced Head of Quality to lead our Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Quality Engineering functions.

You will play a key role in protecting product quality, ensuring compliance and improving customer satisfaction. You will also help shape a culture where people work together, solve problems and strive for better results.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop teams: Inspire, support and develop Quality professionals to achieve shared goals.
• Drive quality standards: Maintain and improve the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant standards, including ITAR, ATEX and Wheelmark.
• Improve performance: Lead audits, root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement projects.
• Build strong partnerships: Work closely with customers, suppliers, production and engineering teams to resolve issues and prevent repeat problems.
• Measure success: Monitor quality KPIs, reduce the cost of poor quality and improve product performance and delivery.
• Champion excellence: Promote accountability, open communication, collaboration and a proactive approach to quality across the business.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience leading a Quality function within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, auditing and relevant compliance standards.
• Practical experience of problem-solving and improvement tools, such as 8D, FMEA, APQP and Lean/Six Sigma.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to develop people and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to make sound, evidence-based decisions.
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to manage priorities, lead change and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
