We're supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Birkenhead in their search for a Head of Quality to lead both their Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions. This senior role offers the opportunity to shape site-wide quality performance, drive improvement initiatives, and manage a high-performing team.

The Role:

• Lead and develop the QA and QC teams, promoting high standards and accountability
• Ensure manufacturing compliance with internal quality procedures and industry standards
• Coordinate daily QC operations and product release activities
• Work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and implement CAPAs
• Conduct internal audits, develop SOPs, and support raw material inspections
• Train operational staff on quality expectations, tools, and best practice
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and in-line process ownership within production
• Monitor KPIs, generate reports, and provide insights for site-wide performance
