Job description

We are looking for a Head of Purchasing who has strong people management skills, and who will be leading a department and enhancing the growth of the company. You will be very process driven, and be ensuring that the team develop improvements and solutions to find the best commercial outcomes for the business.

As the Head of Purchasing, you will be:

1. Managing the Department and growing and developing the team
2. Building strong relationships with clients and internal teams
3. Reviewing department processes and procedures and making improvements
4. Reporting on product developments and forecasting
5. Overseeing the development of new product lines and ensuring efficiency
6. Overseeing the commercial strategy of the department

As the Head of Purchasing, you will have:

1. Excellent man-management skills
2. 5 years' experience in a similar role
3. Experience in distribution and commodities
4. Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
5. Experience in managing multiple projects
