Job summary

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is seeking a senior leader to drive the integration of public safety, health and wellbeing into the authority and to establish a new model for how public services work together to improve outcomes. The role focuses on early intervention and working with partners to shape city region outcomes.

The postholder will lead change across organisations, build trusted relationships with Government and local stakeholders and respond quickly as priorities shift

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the integration of new responsibilities for public safety, health and wellbeing into the Combined Authority and establish a new model for how public services work together to improve outcomes. Leading work to support a shift towards earlier intervention this role will be at the forefront of changing the way in which the Combined Authority works with partners to support city region residents.

About the person

We are looking for a senior leader who can work across organisations, build relationships and manage sensitive discussions through a period of significant change. With experience of leading change in the public sector and the ability to work with Government and local stakeholders the postholder will be able to build trust, drive work forward and respond quickly to changing priorities.
