A leading company in the asset management sector seeks a Head of Public Markets Platform to lead a technology strategy vital for enhancing investment processes. This role drives operational efficiency, ensures regulatory compliance, and requires a deep understanding of the investment lifecycle, particularly within equities and fixed income.

The Head of Public Markets Platform is a critical position, leading the technology estate used by the Equities, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset teams. The role holder will shape and deliver a platform strategy which underpins M&G’s objectives – with a relentless focus on unlocking operational efficiency, continually driving improvements to both client and colleague experience, and regularly driving platform modernisation and simplification.
The role involves acting as technology partner to the Investment, Research, Risk, Dealing & Sustainability teams to understand requirements, challenges and opportunities, and shapes innovative solutions to achieve these. In addition, the role holder is responsible for ensuring the platform meets all regulatory and control environment obligations. The role holder leads a team with a mix of direct and matrix management, across the UK and India, with M&G employees and third party vendors.
