As the Head of Prudential Risk, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing solvency, capital, financial reporting, and financial risk management at Bupa Insurance Limited (BINS). You will lead the Financial & Insurance Risk Management Team, ensuring robust risk management practices that uphold our standards and support our mission to deliver excellent customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for financial and insurance risks.
2. Validate numbers supplied for the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA).
3. Provide risk management advice to Finance and Actuarial teams.
4. Oversee risk processes, the Integrated Management System, and SAI 360.
5. Lead assurance activities for material financial and insurance risks.
6. Prepare and deliver financial and insurance risk reports for executive decision-making.
7. Conduct stress and scenario testing, pricing, and provide commercial oversight.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Actuary with significant post-qualification experience in Life, General, or Health Insurance.
• Strong knowledge of Solvency II / Prudential risk & regulatory requirements.
• Extensive experience in senior financial services roles.
• Proven track record in managing financial and insurance risks and controls.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess and mitigate risks.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading and developing teams, fostering talent and a positive culture.
