Lloyds Banking Group is hiring a Head of Protection Intermediary Distribution. This senior role leads a major growth channel for Scottish Widows, setting the strategy for intermediary distribution and expanding protection market presence across the UK.

The role is remote with travel across the UK and reports to the Protection Director. You will build strategic relationships, drive profitability, and lead a high-performing team to deliver customer outcomes and growth.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the UK protection intermediary market, regulatory environment and legislation.
• Track record of delivering growth and translating strategy into measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading and empowering a high-performing team.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Excellent senior relationship leadership and ability to drive partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the intermediary distribution strategy with profitable growth and market share.
• Build and lead strategic relationships with UK protection intermediaries and panel positions.
• Develop new distribution frameworks and market routes in collaboration with Lloyds Banking Group.
• Lead service recovery and address partner issues to protect outcomes.
• Influence priorities by providing market and adviser insights.
• Create a high-performing team that owns outcomes.
