Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Head of Property to lead its Property Implementation Plan and ensure the estate supports the Trust’s strategic objectives and delivers high-quality patient care. The role provides inspirational leadership of the Property Team and focuses on safe, sustainable and value-for-money environments.

Responsibilities

Accountable for the operational and strategic management of the Trust's property assets, capital investment programme and facilities services such that the needs of the Trust's core activities are consistently met.
Supporting the Executive Director of Property in taking opportunities for integration with the wider system capital allocation, efficient procurement and prudent allocation of financial and staff resources to maintain and manage safe environments and sound asset management and financial principles.
Responsible for the effective management of the property revenue and capital budgets as well as developing a capital investment strategy, preserving the value of the Trusts assets, adding to the portfolio as necessary and releasing land when it is surplus to requirements. This role is responsible for a revenue budget of £16m, assets worth £80m and projects up to £50m.
