Job summary

Maxwell Stephens Recruitment is seeking a senior property leader to drive strategy, asset management, facilities and compliance across a Hampshire estate. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery to support organisational growth.

You will report to the senior leadership team and shape long-term property strategy while managing major projects, budgets and supplier performance. Hybrid working in Hampshire will suit a high-impact, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing and delivering property or estate strategies.
• Knowledge of property compliance, governance and health & safety.
• Proven track record delivering capital projects and major works.
• Strong financial management and budgeting capability.
• Experience leading and developing property or facilities teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the long-term property and asset strategy.
• Manage leases, acquisitions, disposals, and space planning.
• Lead facilities management, maintenance, and day-to-day property services.
• Oversee refurbishment, development, and major capital works.
• Ensure property compliance, health & safety, and risk management.
• Manage property budgets, forecasts, and investment plans.
• Procure and manage contractors, consultants, and external suppliers.
• Drive sustainability and estate efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align property decisions with organisational priorities.
• Lead, develop, and support the Property Services team.
• Identify opportunities for estate improvements and future acquisitions.
