Job Description:

Lincoln Cornhill is currently working with a Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Head of Property & Compliance on an interim six-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, however the client is open to hearing from candidates with a longer notice period. The working hours for the role are Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours.

The range of duties which are covered include:

  • Leading the Repairs, Planned and Compliance functions for a leading Housing Association
  • Providing support to the incumbent Compliance Manager, in particular with M+E policies
  • Playing an active role in the overall improvement of the property services function
  • Attending contractor meetings and ensuring excellent value for money
  • Adopting a profit/loss approach, understanding how to streamline services while maintaining an excellent standard

Experience and skills required:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing policies/procedures around M&E. Alongside exposure to M&E, the successful candidate must have delivered a cost efficient, but effective Repairs & Maintenance Service.
  • Must have experience of working within Social Housing is essential
  • Experience liaising with stakeholders, and senior management
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing policies and procedures surrounding M&E
