We are currently working in partnership with a leading Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Head of Property & Compliance Services on a temporary six-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately; however, the client is open to hearing from candidates with a longer notice period.

The day rate for the role is up to £400 per day via an Umbrella company. To achieve this rate, candidates need demonstrable experience leading a Public Sector Property Management department.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing policies/procedures around M&E. Alongside exposure to M&E, the successful candidate must have delivered a cost-efficient yet effective Repairs & Maintenance Service.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading the Repairs, Planned, and Compliance functions within a Housing Association
  • Supporting the incumbent Compliance Manager, especially with M&E policies
  • Playing an active role in the overall improvement of the property services function
  • Attending contractor meetings and ensuring value for money
  • Adopting a profit/loss approach, streamlining services while maintaining high standards

Experience required:

  • Experience in Social Housing
  • Experience working with housing customers
  • Experience liaising with stakeholders and senior management
  • Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures around M&E
