This strategic, commercially focused leadership role requires expertise in event curation, ticketing strategy, pricing, sponsorship, and multi-market expansion.

Experience:
  • 10+ years in live event (preferably music festival) promotions, talent booking, or ticketing strategy, with a proven track record of scaling events profitably.
  • Experience managing multi-city or international event portfolios.
  • Ability to lead data-driven ticketing and pricing strategies.
  • Strong industry relationships with talent agencies, ticketing platforms, and brands.
  • Leadership experience managing high-performing teams across multiple locations.
  • Financial acumen, including P&L management, sales forecasting, and revenue optimization.
  • Experience with major promoters (e.g., Live Nation, AEG) or leading independents.
  • Understanding of sponsorship integration and brand activations.
  • Experience expanding event brands into new markets or launching new festivals.
  • Knowledge of global music trends and emerging audience behaviors.
Success in this role means:
  • Maximizing profitability through forecasting, pricing, and data-driven sales tactics.
  • Driving market expansion, talent strategy, and audience growth.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing team.
  • Aligning events with the company's long-term growth strategy and values.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the strategic vision for the event portfolio, ensuring financial and creative optimization.
  • Develop and execute multi-year expansion strategies, identifying new markets and audience segments.
  • Collaborate with artists to secure talent aligning with brand and audience demand.
  • Ensure a balanced event calendar across seasons, locations, and demographics.
Ticketing & Pricing Strategy
  • Develop dynamic pricing models, including tiered tickets, VIP, and loyalty programs.
  • Own P&L responsibility, managing budgets and revenue targets.
  • Work with ticketing partners to optimize sales channels and customer experience.
  • Use sales data and trends to adjust pricing and promotional efforts.
Commercial & Sponsorship Integration
  • Work with brand and sponsorship teams to integrate activations.
  • Secure commercial partnerships to add value beyond ticket sales.
  • Develop marketing strategies aligned with ticketing and sponsorship goals.
Market Positioning & Industry Leadership
  • Represent the company at industry events and panels.
  • Maintain understanding of consumer behavior, music trends, and competition.
  • Balance vision with day-to-day execution.
  • Use insights and analytics for decision-making.
  • Negotiate top-tier talent, venues, and partnerships.
  • Plan for market expansion and growth.
  • Manage risks and navigate challenges.
