They are seeking a Head of Promotions to drive the strategic and financial success of their event portfolio, ensuring profitability and cultural relevance.

The Role: Head of Promotions

The Head of Promotions will oversee a diverse portfolio of ticketed events, leading a team of promoters to drive revenue growth, audience expansion, and brand positioning. This is a strategic, commercially focused leadership role requiring expertise in event curation, ticketing strategy, sponsorship, and multi-market expansion.

Experience:
  • Over 10 years in live event promotions, talent booking, or ticketing strategy with a proven track record of scaling events profitably.
  • Experience managing multi-city or international event portfolios.
  • Strong industry relationships with talent agencies, ticketing platforms, and brands.
  • Leadership experience managing teams across multiple locations.
  • Financial acumen, including P&L management and revenue optimization.
  • Experience with major promotion companies or leading independent promoters.
  • Understanding of sponsorship integration and brand activations.
  • Experience expanding event brands into new markets or launching festivals.
  • Knowledge of global music trends and audience behaviors.
Success in this role means:

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic vision for the event portfolio, ensuring financial and creative optimization.

  • Ensuring a balanced event calendar across seasons, locations, and demographics.
Ticketing & Pricing Strategy
  • Developing dynamic pricing models and managing P&L.
  • Working with ticketing partners to optimize sales channels.
  • Using sales data to adjust pricing and promotional efforts.
Commercial & Sponsorship Integration
  • Working with sponsorship teams to embed activations.
  • Securing long-term commercial partnerships.
  • Creating marketing strategies aligned with ticketing and sponsorship goals.
Market Positioning & Industry leadership
  • Representing the company at industry events.
  • Understanding consumer behavior and music trends.
  • Using insights and analytics for decision-making.
  • Negotiating with talent, venues, and sponsors.
  • Scaling brands across regions and segments.
  • Managing risks and navigating challenges.
  • Collaborating across teams for successful events.
