To support our teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an experienced Head of Projects located in Castle Mills, Kendal. Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Projects will lead the Project Management Department, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, to high quality standards, and in compliance with regulations.

What a typical day looks like:

1. Provide operational, financial, and managerial leadership for project implementation.

2. Contribute to and lead the development of the company’s strategy within the Project Management team.

3. Develop and maintain project management capabilities within the department.

4. Conduct reviews to ensure accountability and timely reporting of financials.

5. Work across disciplines to meet budget, time, client, quality, and business objectives.

6. Support the team with issues, following company policies.

7. Develop innovative processes and improve existing systems.

8. Manage contractual obligations, disputes, and final accounts.

9. Build and maintain client relationships with professional communication and expectation management.

10. Participate in weekly planning and project handovers.

11. Communicate KPIs and metrics to ensure performance and compliance.

The experience we’re looking for:

• Relevant experience in electrical or construction project management.

• Current Head of Projects or minimum 5 years in a senior project management role.

• Strong people management skills.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic.

• Ability to work accurately under deadlines in a busy environment.

• Understanding of basic electrical principles.

• Eligible to work in the UK.
