Kintec Global Recruitment is recruiting for a Head of Projects & Engineering in London. This permanent role leads major oil and gas projects, shaping concepts, budgets, and execution strategies.

You will oversee design sign-offs, mentor in-country teams, and drive safety, integrity, and decommissioning initiatives while improving project delivery across the portfolio.

Formación

• MSc in Mechanical Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status.
• 15+ years of experience in oil & gas, covering both onshore and offshore projects.
• Senior technical leadership on major projects, plant integrity, process safety, startup, and late-life decommissioning.

Responsabilidades

• Build the investment case for new projects and assess alternative concepts.
• Ensure engineering maturity supports funding approval.
• Sign off design packages, technical deliverables, and programmes.
• Supervise third-party engineering contractors and in-country project teams.
• Define how projects are executed from start to finish.
• Shape capital and operating budgets and monitor delivery against plan.
• Assure cost, schedule, and resource plans across the portfolio.
• Own integrity strategy for facilities and pipelines.
• Drive emissions monitoring and methane leak reduction.
• Contribute engineering input to insurance, decommissioning liability, and annual performance reviews.
