Job Description:

Veramed is seeking a Head of Projects and Analytical Solutions to lead and manage approximately 100 professionals, including statisticians, programmers, data managers, and technologists across Europe, India, and North America.

This strategic leadership role focuses on delivering high-quality biometrics and data management services, ensuring operational excellence, and achieving financial targets. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring optimal project delivery in line with organizational goals.

Strong leadership and people management skills are essential. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Biostatistics, Data Science, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field, with 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in biostatistics, clinical research, or related life sciences consulting organizations.

Key responsibilities:

P&L Ownership:

• Own the profit and loss statement, managing revenue and ensuring profitability.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet financial targets.

Strategic Leadership:

• Drive business development and account management efforts to secure new projects.
• Understand client needs and develop new product and service offerings.
• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams across regions.
• Define operational strategies for scalable and efficient project delivery.

Client and Account Management:

• Work with Account Managers to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Build strong relationships with key clients and serve as an executive sponsor when needed.

Project Management & Resourcing:

• Manage project staffing and resourcing strategies.
• Oversee project execution to meet margins and timelines, including forecasting.
• Implement best practices in project management.
• Collaborate with Service Line Leads to refine services and develop innovative solutions.

Talent Development:

• Promote a culture of excellence and growth.
• Manage recruitment, retention, and succession planning.

Education:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields.

Experience:

• 12+ years of leadership in biostatistics, clinical research, or related fields.
• Proven P&L management experience.
• Experience managing global, cross-functional teams.
