Job Description:

Veramed is looking for a Head of Projects and Analytical Solutions to lead and manage approximately 100 professionals, including statisticians, programmers, data managers, and technologists across Europe, India, and North America.

This strategic leadership role focuses on delivering high-quality biometrics and data management services, ensuring operational excellence, and achieving financial targets. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring optimal project delivery in line with organizational goals.

Strong leadership and people management capabilities are essential. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Biostatistics, Data Science, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field, with 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in biostatistics, clinical research, or related life sciences consulting organizations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • P&L Ownership: Full ownership of a profit and loss statement, ensuring revenue management and sustained profitability. Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed financial targets.
  • Strategic Leadership: Drive commercial activities with business development and account management teams to win project-based work. Keep a pulse on the market to understand client needs, recommend new product and service offerings, and develop go-to-market strategies. Lead and inspire a diverse, cross-functional team across multiple regions. Define operational strategies for scalable and efficient project delivery.
  • Client and Account Management: Work closely with Account Managers to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth. Establish strong relationships with key clients, serving as an executive sponsor when needed. Ensure high-quality delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Project Management & Resourcing: Oversee project resourcing strategies to staff projects appropriately. Manage projects against margins and timelines, including forecasting. Implement best practices in project management. Collaborate with Service Line Leads to refine services and develop innovative solutions. Ensure services meet industry and regulatory standards.
  • Talent Development: Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth. Oversee recruitment, retention, and succession planning.

Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant fields.

Experience: 12+ years in leadership roles within biostatistics, clinical research, or life sciences consulting. Proven P&L management and experience leading global teams.

Skills: Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and project management knowledge in a consulting environment.
