You will oversee multiple projects, lead a sizeable operations team, and ensure delivery safely, on time and within budget, while building strong client and subcontractor relationships. This permanent full-time role offers a competitive salary of £85,000 plus benefits and real opportunity

• Proven experience in a Contracts Director, Associate Director, Senior Contracts Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong commercial fit-out and refurbishment background.
• Excellent industry knowledge and understanding of project delivery.

• Ability to balance strategic responsibilities with hands-on operational involvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Lead and manage a team including Project Managers, Contracts Managers, Site Managers, Contracts Administrators, and Quantity Surveyors.
• Review project performance, programmes, and commercial performance.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to operational teams.
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Location: Greater Manchester, Hybrid Working (3-4 Days per Week in the Office)

Salary: £85,000 + Benefits

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Projects to join a well-established and growing construction business delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.

This role would suit an ambitious Senior Contracts Manager, Associate Director, or existing Contracts Director looking to take the next step in their career within a highly respected business that offers genuine long-term progression and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping project delivery across the company.

The Role

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will oversee multiple projects and lead a sizeable operational team, ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring someone who is willing to roll their sleeves up, remain visible on projects and provide support to teams both in the office and on site.

Key Responsibilities
