Job Title: Head of Projects

As the Head of Projects, you will be responsible for overall project management and quality assurance to deliver and implement high-quality technology projects and products. The Head of Projects will collaborate and communicate with colleagues across the business, analyse and identify business requirements, plan delivery, structure a clear resolution plan, and implement it effectively and engagingly, including hand-over to the customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Own and deliver technology projects across the group in collaboration with the engineering teams, CITO, Head of Development, and cross-business teams.
2. Implement best practice project management methodologies based on team makeup and roadmap. Act as ScrumMaster.
3. Drive new features and quality to ensure the robustness of products and technology services.
4. Create project plans, budgets, and provide regular reports, including managing time, cost, and resources in line with customer and company requirements.
5. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and apply appropriate mitigation strategies, including governance escalations.
6. Lead customer interactions from hand-over to commissioning, ensuring customer satisfaction during and after delivery.
7. Resolve issues with third parties.
8. Manage and support testing to ensure all products meet high-quality standards.
9. Create comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong management capabilities.
• Understanding of digital software platforms.
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile.

Skills:

• Engineering background or qualification.
• Professional project management qualification (e.g., APM, Prince2, PMP).
