Head of Project Management and Change

Chester

£70,000 - £75,000

At Proximo, the UK’s leading provider of specialist and adapted replacement vehicles, we are dedicated to keeping people on the move. When vehicles are out of action, we step in to provide replacements, ensuring our customers maintain their independence and mobility.

We are seeking aHead of Project Management and Change to lead and embed best practices in change management across Proximo Group. This role will be pivotal in delivering sustainable transformation, working closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are executed effectively and aligned with business goals.

The key responsibilities of this role are grouped into six main areas…

Project Management Leadership

Oversee the successful delivery of key strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, timelines, and budgets.

Change Management

Lead change management efforts to ensure seamless adoption and embedding of new initiatives within the organisation.

Stakeholder Engagement

Facilitate regular communication to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout project lifecycles.

Portfolio Management

Establish a structured approach to portfolio management, ensuring prioritisation of projects based on strategic objectives and resource availability.

Capability Building

Mentor and support teams to build a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Governance and Reporting

Ensure robust governance processes are in place for all projects, including clear decision-making structures and risk management strategies.

You will lead change management efforts and approaches, foster stakeholder collaboration, and manage a structured project portfolio. With a strong focus on governance and continuous improvement, this role requires that the successful candidate has the expertise to significantly alter and transform our existing processes.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience leading large-scale project management and change initiatives within complex organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMI) and change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter).
  • Experience in designing and implementing governance frameworks for projects and portfolios.
  • A track record of building organisational capability in project and change management.
