What you will do:

Responsible for the strategy and development of the renewable energy projects (mainly wind, solar and battery projects) from early stage to construction, in accordance with the company guidelines and the business plan.

You will coordinate the project development team in the UK.

What are we looking for:

  • Master degree in Energy, Engineering, Environmental or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 10-15 years of experience in the development of solar and/or wind projects in UK.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Deep understanding of renewable energy technologies, particularly in onshore wind, solar PV, and battery storage.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the planning process and development risks
  • Knowledge of grid connection processes and technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Negotiation skills. Ability to manage and interpret legal agreements, including land leases, planning agreements, and joint ventures.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills. Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills for engaging with government agencies, stakeholders, and investors.
  • Strong business-oriented mindset.
  • Strategic thinking to drive business growth and pipeline development.
  • Autonomy in decision making/problem solving.
  • Strong regional network and ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Strong influencing, interpersonal and change management skills.
  • Ability to be self-motivated.
