An educational institution in London is seeking a Head of Programme (Psychology) to oversee academic leadership and the development of Psychology programmes. This role requires ensuring alignment with professional standards and leading curriculum innovation. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in academic leadership and a commitment to enhancing student outcomes. The salary range for this position is £60,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
Hours:Full time. Your required hours of work are 40 hours per week. The business operations are Mon-Thurs, 9am - 9pm and Fri - Sun, 9am - 6pm
The Head of Programme (Psychology) is responsible for the academic leadership and development of Psychology programmes within the School of Health and Sports Science. This role includes ensuring alignment with professional accreditation standards, such as those of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and overseeing the delivery of high quality teaching, learning, and assessment. The postholder will lead the curriculum development, support staff, and foster innovation to enhance student outcomes and employability. The HOP will lead the overall success of the Psychology discipline within SoHSS by working closely with the HoS and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that innovative programmes and courses are demand led and deliver to the needs of students across the organisation and the market.
