Person Specification
Qualifications
- Essential: Educated to master’s degree (Level 7) in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
- Essential: PMO-related professional qualification (attained or working towards)
- Essential: Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development
Desirable
- Coaching and/or Mediation qualification
Knowledge
- Highly developed knowledge of managing successful programmes and projects
- Knowledge of performance management requirements and processes
- Knowledge of tendering processes in relation to procurement and re-procurement of services
- Significant managerial knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Experience
- Significant operational management experience, including leading and supervising complex teams
- Experience at a senior operational management level in a provider organisation
- Experience providing strategic and professional leadership for large and complex programmes and projects
- Experience of working with Directors, senior managers and senior clinicians to develop/implement client-responsive services
- Experience of multi-agency and stakeholder management
- Experience of working with commissioners and contract management in a provider organisation
