Qualifications

  • Essential: Educated to master’s degree (Level 7) in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
  • Essential: PMO-related professional qualification (attained or working towards)
  • Essential: Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development

Desirable

  • Coaching and/or Mediation qualification

Knowledge

  • Highly developed knowledge of managing successful programmes and projects
  • Knowledge of performance management requirements and processes
  • Knowledge of tendering processes in relation to procurement and re-procurement of services
  • Significant managerial knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Experience

  • Significant operational management experience, including leading and supervising complex teams
  • Experience at a senior operational management level in a provider organisation
  • Experience providing strategic and professional leadership for large and complex programmes and projects
  • Experience of working with Directors, senior managers and senior clinicians to develop/implement client-responsive services
  • Experience of multi-agency and stakeholder management
  • Experience of working with commissioners and contract management in a provider organisation
