Overview

MCS Group is delighted to be working with a rapidly growing medical devices company who are looking for a Head of Sales to lead and drive its commercial strategy across the UK, Ireland, and international markets. The business is entering an exciting phase of growth. As Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in managing a high-performing team, launching new initiatives, and building strong client relationships in a fast-paced, results-driven environment that values autonomy, resilience, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across UK, Ireland and international markets.
  • Deliver product training to partners and distributors.
  • Actively pursue new business through cold calling, relationship development, and field sales visits.
  • Manage your own sales pipeline and revenue targets, with the freedom to operate independently.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven track record in field sales, ideally within medical devices or diagnostics.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to cope under pressure and deliver in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Ireland, UK and Internationally
  • Spanish language skills are a significant advantage.
  • Valid driver's licence and passport required.
